The Good People Fund on Righteous Crowd this week!
The Good People Fund
Empowering Visionaries to Repair the World
We wish you and your loved ones a happy and healthy Hanukkah filled with lots of latkes and sufganiyot. As we celebrate the first day of Hanukkah, Righteous Crowd is honored to donate over $6,000 to the The Good People Fund which shares a similar passion for funding small, impactful not-for-profits helping vulnerable populations. This is the last organization that will be funded under the current Righteous Crowd model.
Over the last two years, we have collectively donated over $190,000 to 86 different not-for-profits all over the world. Thank you again for your support.
What will happen to Righteous Crowd?
We aren’t going away! Beginning in 2021, we will informally share new organizations on our radar that we are personally supporting. We envision these email updates will go out once a month. If you would like to receive emails in 2021, please let us know at RigheousCrowd@gmail.com.
We hope you will enjoy learning about the organizations with us, and for the organizations that resonate with you, we hope you will consider giving alongside us.

The Good People Fund (GPF), founded in 2008, has allocated over $16.9 million to support more than 200 dynamic programs covering 17 distinct program areas.
Since their inception, we've introduced multiple organizations to GPF to be funded. Similarly, they've introduced us to new organizations. We've had and will continue to have a wonderful relationship with GPF.
Their website reads, "The Good People Fund, inspired by the Jewish concept of tikkun olam, responds to significant problems such as poverty, disability, trauma and social isolation, primarily in the United States and Israel.
We provide financial support, guidance and mentoring to charitable activities of modest proportions that are undertaken by Good People acting singly or in small groups. Target endeavors are those that, by their personal scale and often-unusual nature, might otherwise find it difficult to attract sufficient support.
The Good People Fund operates responsively, flexibly and with a minimum of bureaucracy.
We serve as a means for donors to reach many groups and individual needs and act as an instigator of good, inspiring people to do tikkun olam and tzedakah responsibly and regularly.
To expand these good works (ma’asim tovim), The Good People Fund also educates young people, adults, teachers, recipients and donors about the process and power of helping others."
